WATERFALL
This piece was inspired by intricacy in art seen throughout my travels in Peru and Colombia.
I got to know and admire many incredible artists in my time there and they were a great fountain of knowledge and inspiration for me. I wanted to create the effect of a ‘waterfall’ of spirals with a stone nestled in between.
Mexican Fire Opal seemed the perfect fit for silver - warm and cool.
Spirals were a common symbol in Incan culture and can symbolise life, movement, and connection, the journey between the past, present, and future. The spiral also represented Pachamama (Mother Earth) and the continuous flow of energy that connects nature, people, and the universe.
What a beautiful symbol to carry close to your heart.
Designed to sit on the collarbone, choker portion measures 12cm across with stone measuring 2cm x 2cm.
Length from top of choker portion to the base of the stone, measures approximately 6cm.
Chain measures 26cm with a 2cm ‘S’ hook and loop closure (option to extend necklace with 5 extra loops, 5mm in diameter.)
Necklace is fabricated from nickel silver and fitted with Mexican Opal.
